Bio
1tbsp is the alternative dance project of Sydney-based Australian producer, DJ, and songwriter Maxwell Byrne, who is also known for his Grammy-nominated indie electronic project Golden Vessel. Originally from Brisbane, Byrne created 1tbsp to explore left-field house music, club rhythms, and globally inspired electronic sounds. Blending hypnotic grooves, vibrant percussion, textured synths, and influences from Latin American, African, and European dance music, 1tbsp has earned acclaim for its innovative, high-energy productions. The project has received strong support from triple j, toured internationally, and performed at major festivals including Listen Out, Groovin the Moo, and Laneway Festival.
