Lines DeGen Pass Terms of Service

The Lines DeGen Pass (hereinafter referred to as the "DeGen Pass") refers to the monthly subscription product offered by Global Lines Co Pty Ltd ("Lines", "we", "our", or "us"), which gives access to exclusive deals and offers across Sydney nightclubs and bars that are not available to the rest of our users. A monthly payment is required to access the DeGen Pass.
Relationship to Main Terms: All usage of the Lines App and Website, including the DeGen Pass features, remains subject to our general Terms of Service. These DeGen Pass terms supplement and are in addition to our main Terms of Service. In case of any conflict between these DeGen Pass terms and the main Terms of Service, these DeGen Pass terms will prevail for matters specific to the subscription service.
Incorporation by Reference: By subscribing to the DeGen Pass, you agree to comply with all applicable provisions of our main Terms of Service, including but not limited to user conduct rules, content standards, intellectual property provisions, and general liability limitations. Rather than repeating those provisions here, they are incorporated by reference and apply equally to your use of the DeGen Pass.
Privacy and Data Protection
Please review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which also govern your use of the DeGen Pass and our services. Our use of cookies and similar tracking technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
We also use security services such as Google reCAPTCHA and Firebase App Check to protect our platform and users, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility
By subscribing to the DeGen Pass, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our main Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not subscribe to the DeGen Pass.
Age Requirements: While our general services require users to be at least 16 years old, the DeGen Pass provides access to deals at nightclubs, bars, and venues that serve alcohol. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to subscribe to and use the DeGen Pass benefits.
Parental Consent for Minors: If you are under 18 years of age but meet the minimum age requirement for our general services (16+), you may not subscribe to the DeGen Pass. If you are 18 or older but under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have your parent or legal guardian's consent to subscribe to the DeGen Pass, and that your guardian agrees to be responsible for your compliance with these terms and any charges incurred.
Venue-Specific Requirements: You acknowledge that DeGen Pass benefits are offered by third-party venues which may have their own requirements, including but not limited to:
• Minimum age requirements (typically 18+ for venues serving alcohol)
• Valid government-issued photo identification
• Dress codes and appearance standards
• Sobriety and behavioral requirements
• Capacity limitations and reservation requirements
• Compliance with venue safety and security policies
It is your responsibility to meet these requirements. Lines is not liable if you are refused entry, service, or deal redemption for failing to comply with venue rules or requirements.
Electronic Communications
When you visit the Lines app or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on our mobile app. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Description of Services and Use Restrictions
Being a subscriber to the DeGen Pass grants access to our exclusive deals, some of which are unavailable to the public unless you are a subscriber. Ticket availability is limited for each offer and deal. An advertised offer on the DeGen Pass does not guarantee availability or entry to a venue.
Personal Use Only: The DeGen Pass, its contents and its benefits are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use.
License to Use: Lines grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the DeGen Pass for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and our main Terms of Service. You may not use the mobile app, its contents, or benefits for any commercial purpose. You are also prohibited from modifying, copying, distributing, transmitting, displaying, publishing, selling, licensing, creating derivative works or using any content available on the app, website, or from the DeGen Pass for commercial or public purposes.
DeGen Pass Exclusive Deals and Third-Party Fulfillment
The DeGen Pass provides access to exclusive deals and discounts at participating venues and events that are not available to general Lines users. These deals are subject to the following terms:
Third-Party Offer Fulfillment: Lines acts solely as a facilitator and platform to display exclusive offers to DeGen Pass subscribers. Lines is not the provider of the actual goods, services, or experiences offered through the DeGen Pass. All deals, discounts, free drinks, free entry, and other benefits are provided directly by participating venues, promoters, and event organizers ("Third-Party Providers").
Lines' Limited Role: Lines does not assume responsibility for the actual fulfillment, quality, availability, or delivery of any DeGen Pass benefits. Any issues, disputes, or concerns regarding the quality, availability, or redemption of offers must be resolved directly with the relevant Third-Party Provider, not with Lines.
No Liability for Third-Party Actions: Lines is not responsible for:
• The availability, validity, or specific terms of any exclusive deal
• The quality of goods, services, or experiences provided under any deal
• Refusal of entry, service, or deal redemption by venues or promoters
• Changes to deal terms, expiration dates, or availability without notice
• Disputes between DeGen Pass subscribers and Third-Party Providers regarding deal redemption
• Any harm, injury, loss, or damage that may occur at third-party venues or events
• The conduct, policies, or decisions of Third-Party Providers
Third-Party Provider Discretion: Third-Party Providers retain complete discretion regarding entry, service, and deal redemption for DeGen Pass subscribers. This includes but is not limited to:
• The right to refuse entry or service based on venue policies, capacity limitations, dress codes, behavior standards, or other operational requirements
• The right to modify or withdraw deals at any time without prior notice to Lines or subscribers
• The right to set additional terms or restrictions on deal redemption
• The right to refuse deal redemption if terms and conditions are not met
Subscriber Responsibilities: As a DeGen Pass subscriber, you are responsible for:
• Reviewing and understanding the specific terms and conditions of each deal before attempting redemption
• Complying with all venue policies, dress codes, age requirements, and behavioral requirements
• Presenting valid proof of your active DeGen Pass subscription when requested
• Resolving any disputes regarding deal redemption directly with the Third-Party Provider
• Understanding that deals are subject to availability and may be modified or withdrawn without notice
Account Sharing Prohibited: Your DeGen Pass subscription is strictly personal, non-transferable, and intended solely for your individual use. You may not share your account, credentials, or subscription benefits with any other person, including but not limited to allowing others to use your line skip privileges, free entry, drink offers, or any other benefits associated with your subscription. Unauthorized sharing of your account or benefits constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your subscription without refund, at Lines' sole discretion. Additionally, we reserve the right to notify participating venues of any detected misuse. Maintaining fairness for all members is essential to the integrity of the DeGen Pass program.
Remedies for Unauthorized Sharing: Unauthorized sharing or misuse of your DeGen Pass subscription may result in permanent suspension of your account without refund. In cases where such conduct results in material revenue loss, damage to business relationships, or harm to the integrity of the DeGen Pass program, Lines reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies, including seeking monetary damages. We may also notify participating venues of such abuse and block further redemption of benefits. Maintaining fairness for all members and partners is a core principle of the DeGen Pass — we ask all subscribers to respect this.
No Guarantee of Redemption: Lines does not guarantee that any DeGen Pass exclusive deal will be available for redemption at the time of your visit, or that Third-Party Providers will honor deals in all circumstances. DeGen Pass is intended to provide access to potential discounts and benefits but does not guarantee specific savings, monetary value, or cost reductions for any given billing cycle or subscription period. Deal availability may be subject to time restrictions, capacity limitations, special events, or other factors beyond Lines' control.
Deal Modifications: Third-Party Providers may modify, suspend, or terminate their exclusive deals at any time without notice to Lines or DeGen Pass subscribers. Lines will make reasonable efforts to update deal information when notified of changes, but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of all deal terms.
DeGen Pass and Pre-Sales Access
As a benefit of the DeGen Pass, members may receive early access to certain Internal Pre-Sales of event tickets. This benefit is not guaranteed and is offered at the sole discretion of Lines and its partners. Not all events or Internal Pre-Sales will include early access for DeGen Pass members.
Participation in any Internal Pre-Sale, including those offered through the DeGen Pass, does not guarantee the ability to purchase a ticket.
You may be required to provide a real email address and/or phone number (with SMS validation) to participate in certain Internal Pre-Sales, including those available to DeGen Pass members. If you have used a masked Apple email address to register, you may be required to provide your real email address.
Lines also provides links to External Pre-Sales operated by third-party ticketing platforms. Lines is not responsible for the operation, content, or outcome of any External Pre-Sale. Participation in External Pre-Sales is governed solely by the terms and privacy policies of the third-party platforms involved.
User Accounts
In order to access the DeGen Pass, you will be required to create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your devices, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Lines and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel subscriptions in their sole discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date contact information in your account. Lines is not responsible for any issues arising from your failure to update your contact details or losing access to your registered email or login method.
Payment, Pricing, and Renewal
Our services are offered on a subscription basis. You will be required to provide payment to subscribe to the DeGen Pass. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription prior to the renewal date.
Third-Party Payment Processing: All DeGen Pass subscription payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store). Lines does not collect, process, or store your credit card information directly. By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant payment provider.
If you purchase your DeGen Pass via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you must manage your subscription (including cancellation) via the respective platform's account settings. Cancelling within the Lines app will not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Refund requests for subscriptions managed via third-party platforms must be directed to those platforms.
Subscription Price Changes: Lines reserves the right to modify the DeGen Pass subscription fee, benefits, features, or terms at any time. In the event of a price increase or material change to benefits, we will provide you with notice at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Price changes will apply from your next billing cycle after the notice period expires.
If you do not agree to a price increase or material change to benefits, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the DeGen Pass after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and pricing.
Billing and Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew for successive billing periods of the same duration as your initial subscription term, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the renewal fee.
Multiple Accounts Disclaimer: You are responsible for managing your user accounts and subscriptions. Each DeGen Pass subscription is linked to the specific Lines account (login method) under which it was purchased (e.g. Google, Apple, or email login). If you create multiple Lines accounts using different login methods, subscriptions will not automatically transfer between accounts. Lines is not responsible for any charges incurred due to users creating multiple accounts or losing access to an account where an active subscription exists. Refund requests in such cases will be handled in accordance with the refund policy stated in these Terms.
Cancellation
Users may cancel their DeGen Pass exclusively through the Lines mobile app. Cancellation is not available via the website. If a user has deleted the mobile app, they will need to reinstall it to access the cancellation option. If users are unable to access the mobile app, they can request cancellation by emailing info@bondilines.com from the registered email address associated with their account.
Deleting the Lines app from your device does not cancel your DeGen Pass subscription. You must follow the proper cancellation procedure as outlined above.
Refunds and Consumer Rights
General No-Refund Policy: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all DeGen Pass subscription fees are final, non-refundable, and non-prorated, except as required by law.
Consumer Protection Rights: Where consumer protection laws provide you with mandatory cancellation, cooling-off, or refund rights that cannot be waived, those rights will be honored in accordance with applicable law. This may include statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Technical Issues: If you experience technical issues that completely prevent your use of the DeGen Pass due to a fault on our part, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a refund or credit as required by applicable law.
Refunds will not be provided for cases of user error, including accidental subscription, forgetting to cancel a subscription, or managing multiple accounts, except where required by applicable law.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a DeGen Pass subscription without first contacting Lines to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend your account and deny future subscriptions.
Unsubscribe and Reactivation
Once unsubscribed, you will retain access to the DeGen Pass until the end of your current billing period. After your billing period expires, you will lose access to DeGen Pass benefits and exclusive deals.
Reactivation: If you change your mind after cancelling, you can reactivate your DeGen Pass subscription at any time before your current billing period ends. Simply use the "Keep DeGen Pass Active" option in the Lines mobile app to resume your subscription and prevent it from expiring.
Modification and Termination of Services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the DeGen Pass or any of its features with or without notice. We may also terminate your DeGen Pass subscription and your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms of Service or our main Terms of Service.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Service Disclaimers: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the DeGen Pass and Lines services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Lines makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, as to the operation of the app, website, or the information, content, materials, or benefits included in the DeGen Pass.
Third-Party Venue Disclaimers: Lines does not warrant that third-party venues will honor deals, provide services as advertised, or meet any particular standards of quality or safety.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lines and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the DeGen Pass or Lines services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Essential Terms: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions and limitations will apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law and General Provisions
Governing Law: These DeGen Pass Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Modification and Severability: We reserve the right to modify these DeGen Pass Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the DeGen Pass after any changes have been made to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If any of these terms shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining term.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these DeGen Pass Terms are subject to the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions set forth in our main Terms of Service, which are incorporated herein by reference.
