Advertising and Marketing Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
Google Ads
Third-Party Services That Set Cookies
The following third-party services may set their own cookies when you use our website or app:
Google (for Google Analytics and Google Maps - Analytics may be implemented directly or via Cloudflare Zaraz)
Meta (Facebook) (for advertising and retargeting)
Mixpanel (for analytics and user interaction tracking)
Sentry (for error monitoring)
Spotify (for embedded music content)
Cloudflare (for DNS protection, CDN, security services, and optionally Google Analytics via Zaraz)
Google reCAPTCHA (for spam and bot protection on forms)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and cookie policy, which govern how they collect and use your data.
Note: We also use various backend services (such as cloud infrastructure, payment processing, and communication services) that process data server-side but do not set cookies in your browser. These services are covered in detail in our Privacy Policy.
Security and Protection Services
We use additional security services to protect our platform and users:
Google reCAPTCHA: Used on login, sign-up, and contact forms to prevent spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect device and interaction data to assess whether you are human. This service is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Firebase App Check: Used in our mobile applications to verify that requests are coming from authentic app instances and prevent abuse. This service may collect device attestation data and is subject to Google's Firebase Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
SMS Geographic Restrictions: We implement geographic restrictions on SMS delivery to high-risk countries to prevent fraud and SMS pumping attacks, managed through our SMS provider Twilio.
Rate Limiting: We implement rate limiting across all requests and interactions to prevent abuse and automated attacks.
Web Application Firewall (WAF): We use Web Application Firewalls provided by AWS and Cloudflare to protect against malicious traffic, DDoS attacks, and other security threats. These firewalls may block certain requests or temporarily restrict access to protect our services and users. Some features may be unavailable if your traffic is flagged by these security systems.
Google Analytics Implementation
We implement Google Analytics through two methods:
Standard Implementation: Google Analytics code runs directly in your browser, setting cookies and collecting data as per Google's standard practices.
Cloudflare Zaraz Implementation: On some pages, Google Analytics may be implemented through Cloudflare's Zaraz service, which acts as a privacy-focused intermediary that can reduce the number of third-party requests and provide additional privacy controls.
Both implementations collect similar data for analytics purposes but may handle cookies and data processing differently. Where required by law, Google Analytics cookies will not be set via Zaraz until you have provided your consent. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's opt-out browser add-on or by adjusting your cookie preferences in our cookie preference center.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can control and manage cookies in several ways. We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about your cookie preferences and making it as easy to withdraw consent as it was to give it.
Cookie Preference Center
We provide a comprehensive cookie preference center that allows you to:
View detailed information about each cookie category
Enable or disable specific types of cookies
See which third-party services are used for each category
Update your preferences at any time
Understand the purposes and legal basis for each cookie type

Jurisdiction-Specific Rights: Our cookie preference center automatically detects your location and provides information about your specific privacy rights under applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, Australian Privacy Act).
Global Privacy Control (GPC): We automatically respect Global Privacy Control signals from your browser. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will automatically opt you out of non-essential cookies without requiring manual action.
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. You can:
View and manage cookies in your browser settings
Block all cookies or cookies from specific sites
Delete existing cookies
Set preferences for future cookie acceptance
Enable or disable specific cookie categories
Please note that if you disable essential cookies, some features of our website and app may not function properly.
Third-Party Opt-Outs

Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
Facebook advertising preferences
Industry opt-out tools like NAI Consumer Opt Out
Your browser's Do Not Track settings
Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals (for California residents)
Mobile App Settings
In our mobile app, you can manage tracking preferences through:
App notification preferences
Location tracking settings
Analytics and crash reporting preferences
Advertising identifier controls
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Do Not Track (DNT): Our website does not currently respond to generic "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how to interpret these signals.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): We recognize and honor legally mandated browser signals where required by law. For California residents, browsers transmitting a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal will be treated as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
When we detect a GPC signal from a California resident's browser, we will:
• Stop sharing personal information with third parties for targeted advertising purposes
• Disable non-essential advertising cookies and tracking pixels
• Apply these preferences to your current browsing session
Automatic GPC Compliance: Our cookie management system automatically detects and respects GPC signals. When a GPC signal is detected, non-essential cookies are automatically disabled without requiring user interaction.
Other Privacy Signals: As privacy regulations evolve and new standardized privacy signals are established, we will evaluate and implement support for additional legally recognized opt-out mechanisms.
Cookie Retention
Different cookies have different retention periods:
Session cookies: Deleted when you close your browser
Persistent cookies: Remain for a set period (typically 30 days to 2 years). For example, Google Analytics cookies are typically retained for up to 26 months. Meta (Facebook) Pixel cookies typically persist for up to 90 days.
Analytics cookies: Usually retained for 26 months (Google Analytics default)
Advertising cookies: Typically 30-90 days depending on the service
Consent preference cookies: Retained for up to 1 year to remember your choices
International Data Transfers
Some of our third-party service providers may process cookie data outside your country of residence. When this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. These safeguards may include Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
