Bio
2K88 is the alias of Polish producer, DJ, composer, and visual artist Przemysław Jankowiak, formerly known as 1988. Based in Gdynia, Poland, he emerged from Poland's hip-hop scene before expanding into experimental electronic music, blending bass-heavy UK club sounds with influences from 1990s and 2000s Polish rap. His work spans production, sound design, composition, and audiovisual projects, and he is known for pushing genre boundaries through a mix of nostalgia, club music, and avant-garde experimentation. Jankowiak was also one half of the influential Polish duo Syny, alongside Robert Piernikowski. Following the project's conclusion, he released collaborative works with Polish rapper Włodi, created the guest-filled album *Ruleta*, composed film and soundtrack work, and developed his acclaimed 2024 album *SHAME*, which showcases his fusion of experimental club music, rap heritage, and futuristic sound design.
