Bio
5’nizza (pronounced “Pyatnitsa,” meaning “Friday” in Russian/Ukrainian) is a Ukrainian musical duo from Kharkiv formed in the early 2000s. The group consists of Serhiy Babkin and Andriy Zaporozhets (also known as SunSay), and they are known for their minimalist style that blends acoustic guitar, vocals, beatboxing, and influences from reggae, soul, hip-hop, and folk. They gained popularity in Eastern Europe with their debut album *Пятница* (“Friday”) and songs like “Солдат” (“Soldier”), which became widely recognized in the region. After releasing a second album in 2005, the duo eventually went on hiatus and pursued solo projects before reuniting for later performances and releases.
