Bio
Descendents are Karl Alvarez on bass, Milo Aukerman on vocals, Bill Stevenson on drums, and Stephen Egerton on guitar. They are a long-running punk rock band from Southern California formed in 1978, known for combining fast, aggressive punk with melodic and often humorous or self-deprecating lyrics. Their identity is strongly tied to an outsider, DIY punk ethos, often summed up in their tongue-in-cheek slogan “Never did a popular thing… couldn’t sell out a telephone booth… the proud… the few… the Descendents.”
