Kerser, born Scott Froml on August 21, 1987, in Campbelltown, New South Wales, began rapping at a young age alongside his older brother. He rose to prominence through Australia’s battle rap scene, gaining attention for his aggressive style and high-profile clashes—most notably his rivalry with fellow rapper 360. He built his career independently, releasing mixtapes like Straight Out Tha Gutter (2009) before dropping his debut album The Nebulizer in 2011. Over the years, he consistently released music, earning chart success with albums such as No Rest for the Sickest, S.C.O.T., and King. In 2023, Kerser achieved a major milestone when his album A Gift & a Kers debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, marking his first chart-topping release. Known for his DIY approach, Kerser runs his own label (ABK Records) and has built a loyal fanbase without relying heavily on mainstream radio support. His music often reflects themes of street life, personal struggles, and authenticity.
