Pnau (stylised as PNAU) is an Australian electronic dance music group from Sydney formed in the mid-1990s by Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes, later joined by Sam Littlemore. Known for their colourful, genre-blending style, the group began in the underground acid house and trance scene before gaining national attention with their debut album *Sambanova* (1999), which won an ARIA Award for Best Dance Release. Over time, Pnau evolved into one of Australia’s most influential electronic acts, moving between house, electro-pop, and experimental dance music. They gained international recognition through projects such as their Elton John–endorsed remix album *Good Morning to the Night* (2012), the hit single *“Chameleon,”* and their global smash *“Cold Heart”* (with Elton John and Dua Lipa). Their sound is known for its psychedelic, playful production style and club-ready energy, making them a major force in both Australian and global electronic music scenes.
