Bio
A Place to Bury Strangers (APTBS) are a Brooklyn-based noise rock and shoegaze band formed in 2002, fronted by Oliver Ackermann. They’re known for their intensely loud, feedback-heavy, and atmospheric live performances that blend noise rock, shoegaze, post-punk, and psychedelic influences. Over the years, APTBS have released multiple albums including their self-titled debut (2007), Exploding Head (2009), and See Through You (2022), building a reputation as one of the loudest and most experimental acts in contemporary rock. They maintain a dedicated global following thanks to their immersive, chaotic shows and distinct sonic style.
