Bio
Acopia is a Melbourne-based trio consisting of Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright. Their music blends intimate songwriting with dreamy, atmospheric production, creating a sound often described as ultra-emotive dream pop. Formed through shared musical backgrounds and influences in experimental and indie music scenes, Acopia craft minimalist yet emotionally rich tracks that sit between electronic music and indie pop. Their work is known for its hazy textures, understated vocals, and melancholic mood, drawing comparisons to artists like Cocteau Twins, Portishead, and HTRK.
