Bio
Adriatic are a heavy metal band from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, formed in 2006. Known for their intense live performances and complex, rhythmically aggressive music, the band carved out a niche in the Australian metal underground with their blend of djent‑influenced riffs, hardcore energy, and unconventional time signatures. The group began when brothers Mike and Bojan set out to create heavy music with unusual rhythms, eventually expanding to a full lineup that helped shape their signature sound. Over the years they’ve released multiple recordings including the albums Planina and Krile, showcasing both relentless heaviness and dynamic musical exploration. Adriatic are known in the Brisbane scene for high‑octane shows and a style that mixes metalcore, hardcore, djent, and heavy metal elements, drawing comparisons with technically driven and aggressive acts.
