Al McInnes is an Australian musician, performer, and longtime collaborator of Dan Warner. Together as Dan & Al, they became a beloved duo on the Melbourne live‑music scene in the 1990s, playing regular residencies and building a strong following with their engaging blend of acoustic and roots‑driven performance. Al has a rich background performing in cover bands from a young age, and beyond his work with Dan, he has been involved in other musical ventures including live performance, recording, and creative projects drawing on his broad experience in the Australian music community. In more recent years, Al McInnes has also contributed to entertainment projects like The Mik Maks, a children’s music act performing nationwide (as part of the McInnes family band), bringing music and live shows to families across Australia.
