Bio
Alice Unchained is a U.S.-based rock tribute band from Iowa, best known for performing as a tribute to the legendary grunge/rock group Alice in Chains. Formed around 2014, the band focuses on recreating the sound, energy, and stage presence of Alice in Chains, especially their iconic 1990s grunge era performances. They perform live shows across the Midwest and are known for strong musicianship and accurate vocal harmonies that mirror the original band’s dark, heavy sound. The group regularly plays at venues such as Wooly’s in Des Moines, Iowa, and has built a following through live tribute shows featuring songs from albums like Dirt, Facelift, and Jar of Flies. Overall, Alice Unchained is not an original recording artist but a live tribute act, dedicated to recreating the experience of an Alice in Chains concert for modern audiences.
