Amber Run is a British indie rock band from Nottingham, England, formed in 2012. The band consists of Joshua “Joe” Keogh (vocals/guitar), Tom Sperring (bass), and Henry Wyeth (keys), with former members including Felix Archer and Will Jones. They are known for their emotionally driven sound, blending indie rock, indie pop, and alternative rock, often built around piano-led melodies, atmospheric production, and heartfelt lyricism. Amber Run gained attention with early EPs like Noah and Spark, before releasing their debut album 5am in 2015, which included the breakout track “I Found”. Their music often explores themes of love, loss, identity, and vulnerability, and they’ve continued to evolve through albums like For a Moment, I Was Lost, Philophobia, and How to Be Human. They are a touring live act with a strong following in the UK and Europe and have built a reputation for emotionally intense live performances.
