Bio
Among The Restless (often “ATR”) are an energetic alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in late 2019, and are known for combining a “wall of sound” approach with emotional, passionate performances. The core members include Rhett James (lead vocals), Lachie Dunn (guitar/vocals), Seamus Glenn (guitar), along with Emma Gekas (synth/piano), Nick Laby (bass), and Jude Harris (drums). Their music is rooted in alternative rock but fused with pop and indie elements — big guitar riffs, strong melodies, and emotional depth. They’ve built up a following through live performances across Victoria and wider Australia, including festival appearances (e.g. Good Things Festival, Uncaged Festival) supporting established rock acts. They describe their sound as “undefined,” because while they’re firmly in the alt/indie rock space, they keep evolving and experimenting.
