Bio
Andy and the Odd Socks are a children’s music and entertainment band fronted by British kids’ TV presenter Andy Day (known for Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures and Andy Safari Adventures). They formed in 2017 and create fun, upbeat pop‑rock songs with positive messages about individuality, confidence, friendship, and celebrating differences. The group features colourful characters including Andy (lead vocals), Rio (guitar), Moxy (drums), Blu (bass), and Cousin Mac (keys), and are known for energetic, family‑friendly live shows that appeal to both kids and adults. Andy and the Odd Socks rose to broader fame through their CBBC TV series Andy and the Band (streamed on ABC Kids in Australia), where they combine music with fun storytelling and slapstick adventures. They played Glastonbury Festival early in their career and have toured internationally, including multiple Australian tours bringing their silly songs, positive themes, and engaging live performances to families across the country.
