Bio
Assorted Pleasures is a Melbourne-based indie band emerging from the city’s alternative scene. Originally formed on the Mornington Peninsula, the group has quickly gained attention for their moody yet driving sound, drawing inspiration from post-punk revival acts like Fontaines D.C. and Interpol. Since beginning live performances in 2023, they’ve built a reputation for raw but refined shows across Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Their self-produced debut single *Hit* introduced their sound, while follow-up releases like *Grapevine* highlight a growing maturity in songwriting and production. Blending elements of indie rock, post-punk, and alternative music, Assorted Pleasures stand out for their darker, more atmospheric approach compared to the typically bright Australian indie sound, positioning them as a rising act within the local underground scene.
