Audrey Hobert (born February 19, 1999, in New York City) is an American singer-songwriter and pop artist. Raised in a creative family, she studied at New York University, graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Before launching her music career, she worked in television production and as a staff writer on Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House (2022–2024). Hobert is a close friend and collaborator of Gracie Abrams, co-writing several tracks on Abrams’ 2024 album The Secret of Us, including the hit “That’s So True.” This success led to her signing with RCA Records. She made her debut as a solo artist with the single “Sue Me” (May 2025), followed by “Bowling Alley” (June 2025) and “Wet Hair” (July 2025). Her debut album, Who’s the Clown?, was released on August 15, 2025, through RCA. Known for witty, vulnerable, and cinematic songwriting, Hobert often directs and edits her own music videos, emphasizing visual storytelling alongside her music. Critics describe her as one of pop’s emerging voices, blending sharp lyricism with theatrical imagery. The clown-inspired artwork for Who’s the Clown? reflects her playful yet self-aware approach to modern pop culture.
