Awkward Moments are a London-based duo comprising of Mimi Xu – producer & electronic composer, and MAGUIRE – multi instrumentalist and lead vocalist. Awkward Moments represent a unique voice in contemporary and immersive performative art. The live shows always inhabits the edginess of experimental art presentations, but is firmly rooted on the solid foundations of their multifold crafts ranging from music composition, scoring, narratives, live performance, costuming, videography and projection content. The innovative modern voice of IDM & Dark Pop, that place one foot in the rave, the other on the astral plane – think Pet Shop Boys and Leftfield meets Björk.
