Bio
babyschön is the DJ and radio host moniker of Safi Bugel, a London-based artist known for eclectic, rhythm-driven selections that connect new wave, new beat, synth-pop and house with sleazy, percussive textures. Active across clubs, festivals and radio, she has hosted shows on community stations including NARR (which she co-founded) and Sable Radio, and held a regular slot on NTS. Her sets blend angular guitars, chugging synths and winding rhythms, reflecting a broad palette shaped by post-punk, downtempo and electronic influences. With appearances at DIY venues and major festivals across the UK and Europe and bookings internationally babyschön has built a reputation for left-field dancefloor storytelling that prioritises atmosphere and experimentation.
