Bio
Barry B is a UK-based rapper and songwriter associated with the newer wave of British alternative hip-hop and indie-leaning rap. He emerged in the late 2010s/early 2020s, building attention through online releases and DIY-style output that blends rap with more melodic, guitar-driven and genre-blurring production. His work sits in the space between **UK rap, indie, and experimental pop-rap**, often reflecting a youthful, emotionally direct style. Barry B is part of a generation of UK artists who don’t stick strictly to grime or drill traditions, instead drawing from **internet-era rap, indie aesthetics, and alternative club-adjacent production**.
