Bio
BATTLEGRAVE is a thrash/death metal duo from *Melbourne, Victoria, Australia*, active since around 2017. They were formed by lifelong metal fans Clint Patzel (guitars/bass) and Rohan Buntine (vocals/lyrics) as an outlet to channel their passion for aggressive metal styles. Battlegrave initially wrote just one song together, which grew into their EP *To Hell With War* (2017) and then their debut full‑length album Relics of a Dead Earth (2018). Their second album *Cavernous Depths* (2022) further entrenched their sound — a ferocious blend of thrash metal and death metal with influences from hardcore and extreme metal. They record and release music independently (often via Australian underground label *Bitter Loss Records*) and have worked with prominent session drummers and collaborators in the metal scene for studio projects. In 2026 they unveiled new material including the single “Venom” ahead of their third full‑length *Enslavement*. Battlegrave is known for fast, aggressive riffs, punishing rhythms, and energized extreme metal delivery — appealing to fans of traditional thrash and death metal alike.
