Bio
Beautiful Bedlam is a dynamic and genre-blending rock band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, formed in 2017. They are known for delivering a melodic yet chaotic fusion of progressive, alternative, and experimental rock, with twists of jazz, metal, indie-pop, and other influences that give their sound a diverse and unpredictable character. The band was born from the ashes of local prog stalwarts A Lonely Crowd and has featured a strong collaborative spirit, often including guest musicians on recordings and in live shows. Their self-titled debut album was released digitally in May 2021, showcasing their eclectic style and community-driven approach. In 2024 and 2025, Beautiful Bedlam continued to expand their catalog and live presence, releasing the Live at The Band Booth EP (featuring recordings from a July 2024 performance) and performing live shows with material from both their debut and forthcoming releases.
