Bio
Better Lovers is an American metalcore/hardcore punk band formed in Buffalo, New York in 2023. The group features members from notable heavy acts — including vocalist Greg Puciato (formerly of The Dillinger Escape Plan), guitarists Jordan Buckley and Will Putney, bassist Steve Micciche, and drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak. Their sound blends ferocious hardcore energy, technical metalcore complexity, and chaotic intensity rooted in the punk and heavy metal tradition. Often described as a hardcore/metalcore supergroup, Better Lovers quickly released their debut EP God Made Me an Animal (2023) followed by their first full‑length album Highly Irresponsible (2024). They have toured internationally and garnered attention in heavy music circles for their explosive live shows and powerful songwriting.
