Bio
Big League are an indie rock band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, known for their melodic, guitar‑driven sound and fuzzy ‘90s–inspired alt‑rock energy. They’re led by the husband–wife duo Travis & Marie Velthoven, with other members completing the lineup, and have built a solid reputation with a string of releases and live shows across Australia. Their debut album I Thought Thunderbolt earned critical attention and helped them gain airplay on ABC’s Rage, MTV Australia/New Zealand and community radio, while standout tracks like Olympic Mystery and Sign Waves highlight their blend of classic indie rock and power‑pop hooks. Big League have also showcased internationally, including performances at SXSW in Austin, Texas, and subsequent U.S. tour dates, where their energetic live shows won over new audiences.
