Billy Otto is an Australian singer-songwriter, producer and indie artist based in Byron Bay, NSW, known for his confessional lyrics, sun-drenched vocals and eclectic sound that blends indie rock, dream pop, folk and psychedelic elements. He has toured and performed in over 50 countries, building a global audience with his immersive, ethereal compositions and engaging live presence. Billy’s music has been embraced on platforms like triple j Unearthed, and his tracks such as Dreams, Let Me Loose and Can’t Take the Ocean Out of Me have resonated with fans for their emotional depth and melodic warmth. Aside from music, Billy is also a mental health advocate, surfer and environmental activist, using his voice and art to support community and ecological causes, including collaborations with the Surfrider Foundation and Patagonia for environmental campaigns.
