Birdgirl (Britt Franzmann) is a Melbourne-based Australian musician and songwriter. Originally from the Gold Coast, she developed her music career after moving to Melbourne and is known for an indie-emo Australiana sound combining raw lyricism with twinkly guitar and a Midwest-emo influence. Her music has also been described as exploring the harsher edges of Australian culture and the quiet erasure of hope.
