Blanco White is an English folk‑influenced singer‑songwriter and guitarist (real name *Josh Edwards*) whose music has a strong international following and who tours Australia regularly. Blanco White started as Edwards’ solo project in 2014, rooted in his studies of flamenco guitar in Cádiz, Spain and the Andean charango in Sucre, Bolivia. These experiences, along with his English musical roots, shaped his distinctive sound that blends folk traditions, Latin American influences and poetic songwriting. He has released multiple EPs beginning with *The Wind Rose* (2016), followed by *Colder Heavens* (2017), *The Nocturne* (2018), and later studio albums including *On the Other Side* (2020) and *Tarifa* (2023). Blanco White has toured across Europe, the US, and Australia, earning acclaim for his evocative, atmospheric performances and culturally rich music.
