Bio
BLOKBSTR is a Sydney-based self-producing indie band blending electronic, indie, and rock influences into energetic, groove-driven music. In 2024, they released their debut EP and quickly began building momentum through Australia’s live music scene, supporting acts like YARD ACT, The Terrys, Boo Seeka, and Le Shiv, as well as touring nationally on their own headline run. Their sound is often compared to acts like LCD Soundsystem, DEVO, David Byrne, and The Rapture, reflecting a mix of post-punk, dance-rock, and indie electronic styles. They’ve gained attention for their upbeat, party-ready live shows and a growing catalogue of tracks that sit between indie rock energy and electronic groove experimentation, earning them recognition within the Triple J Unearthed ecosystem.
