Bio
Bodywire are a Sydney-based alternative rock band known for their gritty energy and sharp live performances. Formed in 2022, the group — featuring Thom (vocals/guitar), Pat (drums), Oscar (lead guitar), and Sidonie (bass/vocals) — emerged from local jam sessions with a strong DIY ethos and a name inspired by the fencing term “bodywire.” Their debut double single “Alive / Mall Cop” introduced a sound that fuses alt-rock, post-punk, and indie grit, drawing comparisons to Pixies, Viagra Boys, and Squid. Known for their raw intensity and unpredictable live shows, Bodywire bring both chaos and charm to the stage, quickly becoming a standout in Sydney’s underground rock scene.
