Bonniesongs is the artistic project of Bonnie Stewart, an Irish‑born singer‑songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist based in Sydney, Australia. Originally from Wicklow, Ireland, she moved to Sydney in 2012 drawn by the local creative community and has since developed a distinctive voice in the indie and experimental music scene. Her music blends dreamy, ethereal textures with art‑folk, psychedelia, indie‑rock and grunge‑tinged elements, characterized by lush vocals, layered guitar loops and imaginative songwriting. Bonniesongs began her career as an improvised jazz drummer and remains active in multiple collaborative projects across Sydney’s experimental and folk scenes, while also leading her own work with releases on labels like Impressed Records and Small Pond. Her album Strangest Feeling (2025) and singles like “Olive Oil” showcase her evolution into a genre‑defying independent artist with a growing international profile.
