Bio
Brittle Sun are a Melbourne-based band described as a bluesy, psychedelic garage folk project, blending elements of indie, folk, country, and psychedelic rock. Their music sits in a warm, atmospheric space, often combining storytelling songwriting with textured instrumentation and a relaxed, melodic feel. The project has released tracks that showcase a mix of folk-pop melodies, indie rock structure, and subtle psychedelic/garage influences, with comparisons often drawn to dreamy, emotional indie acts. Their sound is intimate and organic, leaning into a lo-fi, rootsy aesthetic while still maintaining modern indie sensibilities. Brittle Sun’s work reflects a DIY approach typical of the Australian independent scene, with a focus on mood, songwriting, and layered guitar-driven arrangements rather than polished commercial production.
