Bio
Bully Hay is the solo project of Jonathon Coleman, a sixth-generation Tasmanian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Based in southern Tasmania, he blends alternative rock, acoustic rock, folk, roots and indie into a sound that moves between intimate acoustic songs and larger, anthemic rock tracks. His debut album, Black Dogs and Songbirds (2024), was produced and recorded by Jeff Martin of The Tea Party. His second album, Anywhere But Here, was released in March 2026 and combines dark alternative rock, 1980s-inspired textures, cinematic elements and stripped-back folk.
