Burn the Kingdom is a Sunshine Coast, Queensland-based death groove band formed in 2024 by guitarist Nick and drummer Ricky after leaving a previous death metal project. Blending crushing grooves, serrated riffs, and venomous vocals, the band channels raw aggression and confrontational themes centred on organized religion, government authority, and modern complacency. Completing the lineup with bassist Beau and vocalist Rob, Burn the Kingdom quickly earned a reputation for their chaotic, high-impact live shows across Queensland, culminating in a Battle of the Bands victory in 2025. With their debut single "Vermin" released in 2026 and an EP on the way, the band has established itself as an uncompromising force in Australia's underground heavy music scene.
