Bio
CB Ghost is an Australian singer‑songwriter and band leader originally from a tight‑knit surf town on the NSW Central Coast, now emerging strongly on the local indie scene. Known for his honest, raw folk‑rock style that blends singalong anthems, poetic lyrics and energetic beats, he creates music that channels coastal life, blue‑collar stories and heartfelt emotion. His sound has been described as “Oasis meets Jack Johnson with Chris Cornell feels,” capturing both melodic folk and rock dynamics in equal measure. A former professional surfer, CB Ghost brings outdoors‑bred energy and dedication to his music, often playing live with a full band (nicknamed his “merry Ghosts”) that includes violin and rock instrumentation. He has released several singles such as “Hollywood Hills,” “Hold Down Hymn,” “Beautiful Middle Finger” and “High on Elm & Vine,” and his debut album Mayhemic showcases a range of styles from gritty folk‑rock to foot‑stomping grooves and emotional duets. CB Ghost has quietly built momentum through live shows along the NSW coast and beyond, performing at venues from pubs to lounges and touring with his band as part of the Mayhemic album tour.
