Charles‑Eddy (real name Charles‑Eddy Vitry) is a France‑born DJ and electronic music artist based in Melbourne, Australia. He began DJing in 1999, developing his skills on MK2 turntables with influences ranging from jazz, soul, and rhythm to house and Afro house. Originally active in the Paris club scene — including a residency at the iconic Bains Douches and work on Radio FG — he performed widely across Europe and North America before moving to Australia in 2008. Since relocating, he has become a staple of the Melbourne underground scene, playing at clubs such as 161, Revolver Upstairs, Electric Bar, and festivals including Strawberry Fields, Rainbow Serpent, and Maitreya. He’s also worked with and supported artists like DJ Deep, Archie Hamilton, Huxley, and No Regular Play, and has collaborated on projects such as The Street Player and Linkosono in addition to running his own record initiatives.
