Bio
Charlie Owen is a Sydney-based Australian singer-songwriter known for her warm, expressive vocals and a blend of folk, soul, and alternative acoustic music. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Joni Mitchell and Eva Cassidy, she creates intimate performances that combine thoughtful storytelling, emotional depth, and a nostalgic atmosphere. Her original songs explore themes of love, loss, self-reflection, and personal growth through honest lyricism and melodic acoustic arrangements. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Music, Charlie has performed extensively across Sydney and has appeared as a backing vocalist for artists including Katie Noonan and Montaigne. She performs both original material and acoustic reinterpretations of folk, soul, and alternative songs, adapting her style to venues ranging from cafés and weddings to corporate events and festivals.
