Bio
Cog is an Australian progressive rock band from Sydney, formed in 1998. The core members are Flynn Gower (vocals/guitar), Lucius Borich (drums), and Luke Gower (bass). They gained attention with early EPs (Pseudo, Just Visiting Part 1 & 2) and their debut album The New Normal (2005), followed by Sharing Space (2008). Known for their progressive rock, alternative metal, and post-grunge sound, Cog features heavy guitar riffs, complex rhythms, and atmospheric arrangements. After a hiatus around 2010, they reunited in 2016, released new singles like The Middle (2018) and Walk The Line (2025), and continue to tour, maintaining a strong presence in the Australian rock scene.
