Bio
Concrete Winds is an extreme metal band from Finland, formed in 2019 by members PJ (Jonatan Johansson) and Mikko Josefsson. They emerged from the underground metal scene after the breakup of the earlier band VORUM, channeling intense energy into a brutal and relentless sound that quickly gained attention among extreme music fans. The band’s music is characterised by crushing death metal and deathgrind intensity, featuring ferocious guitar riffs, guttural vocals, high-velocity drumming, and an unyielding sonic assault that appeals to fans of extreme metal genres. Their debut album Primitive Force (2019) established their ferocious style, followed by Nerve Butcherer (2021) and a self-titled third album in 2024 — all celebrated for their unrelenting heaviness and raw aggression.
