Bio
Cosmic Psychos are an Australian punk rock band formed in 1982 in Victoria, originally emerging from the rural town of Spring Plains. Known for their raw, hard-edged sound and irreverent humor, the band helped shape the Aussie pub rock and grunge scenes with their straightforward, beer-soaked anthems. Their fuzz-driven basslines and blunt lyrical style heavily influenced iconic acts like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Over the years, Cosmic Psychos have maintained a loyal following, renowned for their raucous live performances and unpretentious attitude. The lineup has included Ross Knight (bass/vocals), Macka Melville (guitar), and Dean Muller (drums). In 2025, they released their twelfth studio album I Really Like Beer, followed by an extensive 42-date regional Australian tour, further cementing their legendary status in rock.
