Bio
Cradle of Filth is an English extreme metal band formed in 1991 in Suffolk, UK. They are known for combining aggressive metal with gothic, symphonic, and horror-inspired elements, creating a very theatrical and dark sound and image. Fronted by Dani Filth, the band has become one of the most recognizable names in modern extreme metal, especially for their dramatic vocals, orchestral arrangements, and horror-literature-inspired themes. They started with a black metal foundation and evolved into a more expansive blend of gothic metal, symphonic metal, and extreme metal, often described as one of the most theatrical bands in the genre.
