Craig Dermody is an Australian musician, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter best known as the founder and principal creative force behind the indie rock project *Scott & Charlene’s Wedding*, which he started in Melbourne in 2006. He writes and records much of the material himself, blending lo‑fi indie rock and jangly guitar pop with personal, narrative lyrics that draw on suburban life and emotional storytelling. Dermody released the band’s debut album *Para Vista Social Club* on his own label to critical acclaim, later reissued internationally, and has since released albums including *Any Port In A Storm* and *Mid Thirties Single Scene*, touring extensively with various lineups and earning a cult following both in Australia and abroad. Originally from Australia, Dermody has spent periods living and performing internationally, including in New York, helping broaden his musical reach while keeping his songwriting rooted in Australian indie traditions.
