Bio
Cycad is an indie rock band from Melbourne (Naarm), Victoria, Australia, formed by a group of friends including brothers Cam (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Lachie (lead guitar) along with Eoghan (bass) and Sam (drums). The four‑piece has been active in the local scene since around 2021, building momentum with energetic live performances and a playful approach to their music. Musically, Cycad blends 70s‑inspired vibes with modern indie rock production, drawing comparisons to bands like Spacey Jane, Arctic Monkeys, Pink Floyd, and Portishead in their sound and style. Their tracks like Lost n Found and more recent releases showcase an indie rock spirit with soulful and rock influences, helped along by their dynamic interplay and melodic sensibilities.
