D. Tyrone is a DJ, producer and electronic artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, originally from Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). Active in Australia’s underground club circuit since the late 2010s, they are known as a regular presence in local parties, clubs and radio mixes, contributing to queer and trans-led dance-music spaces and communities. Their DJ style draws on early-2000s dance sounds — including dub, jungle, UK garage and deep house — alongside edits and remixes that shape groove-driven sets rooted in the queer club scene. They have also released original music and mixes exploring identity-focused themes and experimental electronic textures, while performing across Melbourne venues and events.
