Dazegxd is a 22-year-old producer and DJ from Brooklyn, New York, recognized for leading the DIY dance movement in NYC. While closely associated with the jungle revival of the 2020s, Dazegxd is a 'genre-agnostic' act, capable of molding a wild blend of influences into a captivating and unique live experience. They've played across the U.S. and internationally, performing alongside acts such as Nia Archives, TisaKorean, Gum.mp3, Brodinski, Quadeca, and more. They've also done guest DJ mixes from The Lot Radio to Rinse FM and currently hold a monthly residency on NTS Radio entitled "The Exhibition Hour." Dazegxd's discography has been shaped by the rave music of the early 2000s and video games, as well as their Jamaican and Ghanaian heritage and neighborhood of Canarsie, Brooklyn. They intertwine different elements of hardcore, acid, jungle, trap, rap, house, techno, and more to create illimitable sounds. The next level of rave utopia is here, as New York City experiences one of its most raw eras in music. One that can be found in many places: on the sticky floor of a club basement, painted on the walls of an abandoned warehouse, lingering in the air of a smoky studio. Most importantly: within the breathing, bleeding heart of all who dance.
