Dead Mall is a five-piece punk and hardcore band from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Formed by friends from the city’s tight-knit music scene, the group built momentum through energetic releases and live shows across Australia’s east coast. Their music blends hardcore intensity with elements of alternative rock and punk, creating fast-paced, riff-driven songs with sharp lyrics and high-energy performances. The band gained attention with singles such as “Gasoline,” “Chris Martian,” and “100% Pure Poison,” and released their debut full-length album *Superliminal* in 2025. Their sound reflects hardcore roots while incorporating influences from alt-rock, nu-metal, and power-pop, highlighting the band’s evolving and genre-blending approach to modern punk music.
