Bio
Destrends is a Melbourne‑based rock collective known for their angular, guitar‑driven post‑punk and punk sound that blends raw energy with theatrical live performances. They operate on the fault line between classic Australian pub rock and modern post‑punk, often infusing their music with gritty textures, driving rhythms, and dark melodic hooks. They’ve released standout singles and EPs including *Medication*, *Missing People*, *Wasteland* and *Straight*, building a reputation for intense live shows and a growing presence on the Australian music scene. The band has shared stages with acts such as *King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard*, *Spiderbait* and *Skegss*, and continues to tour nationally.
