DIOR (born Tan Jia Ying on February 26, 1999) is a Malaysian Mandopop singer-songwriter, record producer, and content creator. She first gained widespread recognition in 2020 after her debut single "Love Myself More" (爱自己更深) went viral on social media, launching her music career. Since then, she has built a strong following across Malaysia and Chinese-speaking markets with emotionally driven Mandarin pop songs. Raised in Johor, Malaysia, DIOR developed a passion for music at a young age, influenced by her family's involvement in the audio equipment business. She competed in singing contests during her teenage years, performed as a bar singer after high school, and appeared as a finalist on the Malaysian web reality show *Produce KOL Trainee Musical* in 2019 before making her official debut. Following her breakthrough, DIOR released a series of successful singles, including "Divorce in Ghana" (在加纳共和国离婚) with Firdhaus and the heartfelt originals "I've Been Better" (你最近过得好吗?) and "If That Call Had Been Answered" (如果那通电话有接通). The latter songs were inspired by the loss of her mother in a car accident and resonated with audiences for their emotional storytelling. In 2024, she joined the Malaysian music label LostControl and continues to produce original music while expanding her presence through concerts and digital content.
