Discovery Zone is the artistic project of JJ Weihl, a musician and multimedia artist originally from New York and based in Berlin. She is also a founding member of the experimental pop group Fenster. Under the name Discovery Zone, Weihl creates a hybrid practice that blends electronic pop music, visual art, video collage, performance, and conceptual design. Her work often explores themes of technology, perception, and information systems, using multimedia “laboratory-style” performances that combine sound and visuals into immersive experiences. Her debut album *Remote Control* (2020) introduced her distinctive experimental pop style, followed by *Quantum Web* (2024), which further developed her fusion of avant-pop songwriting and electronic experimentation. She has toured internationally across Europe and North America, performing both as a live electronic act and audiovisual artist. Overall, Discovery Zone sits at the intersection of experimental pop and multimedia performance art, with a strong focus on conceptual, audiovisual storytelling.
