Bio
DisKust is a Gold Coast-based Australian metal band known for their aggressive, high-intensity sound blending modern metalcore, hardcore, and groove metal influences. Formed in 2017, the band quickly established themselves within Queensland’s heavy music scene through fast-paced songwriting, heavy breakdowns, and a raw, energetic live presence. Their music is shaped by elements of metalcore, hardcore punk, and extreme metal, drawing influence from acts such as Parkway Drive, Slipknot, Architects, and Thy Art Is Murder. DisKust’s sound combines heavy riffing, shouted vocals, and rhythmic breakdowns designed for high-impact live performance. The band has built momentum through local shows and festival appearances, sharing stages with prominent Australian heavy acts and contributing to the country’s strong underground metal circuit.
